Emmanuel Néré was previously the Head of Engagement at the AXA Data Innovation Lab. He was part of the founding team of the Data Innovation Lab in early 2014 where he developed over the past two years the footprint of Big Data and advanced analytics projects and capabilities within AXA, with concrete implementations in 10 Countries (US, UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Spain, Italy, Hong Kong and Japan). With 18 years of experience, Emmanuel is an acknowledged leading expert in insurance transformation and innovation. He started his career in the field of Operations and customer service, launched a Health branch of new Business including operational, actuarial, marketing, distribution and regulatory agreements. Emmanuel then run the Operations of a medium size company (600 m€ turnover) overseeing Underwriting, Claims, Commissions, IT and Customer service and satisfaction and helped the company move from a traditional management to introducing KPIs on customer centricity and quality of service both to customers and distribution workforce, as well as expand the paperless and straight through processes internally. Emmanuel also spent a number of years at Groupama where he managed large transformation IT programs for Life & Savings products before merging 4 insurance subsidiaries of Groupama into one single company (Groupama Gan Vie) when he was CIO of this company. His entrepreneurship spirit also led him to create a consultancy agency focusing on Insurance strategic transformation on the retail market before joining AXA in early 2012, as IT Transformation Officer for the P&C business.
